Beginner's first hour

Redeem a code, buy a cheap multi-harvest seed, plant it on the brown plots, wait for it to grow, harvest, and sell. Reinvest into more plots and better seeds, then join a guild.

• Equip a seed, then click brown plots to plant
• Crops keep growing while you are offline

The core loop

Grow → expand → steal → defend → sell → reinvest. A day/night cycle decides whether you farm safely or risk (and attempt) night-time theft.

Controls

Move with WASD, jump with Space, open inventory with the backtick key, and use hotbar slots 1-0. Interact or harvest with E or click. On mobile, use the on-screen joystick and tap plots.

Sprinklers & watering

Sprinklers boost growth speed, size, weight, and mutation chance — place them across all plots. A Watering Can revives withered plants when you return after a long break.

Bargaining

At the Sell Shop you can bargain for a higher price. It costs Sheckles and can fail, so bargain when you can spare the money. Use your once-daily Daily Deal on your most valuable inventory.

Mutations don't stack

Unlike Grow a Garden 1, only one mutation is active per crop in GAG2. Chase the single best mutation for the current weather rather than planning combo chains from old videos.

AFK farming

Fill plots with multi-harvest crops, cover them with sprinklers, equip a growth pet, and log out. For safe AFK during night cycles, use a private server so no one can steal.
